Today on his radio show Rush Limbaugh offered the opinion that Sanford may just have concluded that under Democrat rule everything is going to Hell in a handbasket anyway, nothing will stop it, and he may as well drop out and get what he can while he can, on his terms.
An extreme position, yes. But not incredible. And isn't the kernel of that thought in most productive people's minds now?
